The Maze Runner

Rigoberto Garza
12th grade
English

The Maze Runner is one of the few books I have read, but personally I want to congratulate the Author because I love the way he used suspense for the whole story and how he gave you a very big image of the book I felt I could imagine everything in the book very good and I felt I could see what Thomas was seeing. The words he used were perfect for the reader and it was very specific. I am a big fan of the “Grievers” and how he used them as the biggest obstacle of the book. Another thing that I liked a lot too as well was how the Author always kept adding something into the book, for example when he introduced Teresa and how she had telepathic powers with Thomas and later in the book how they fall in love. The book personally I would recommend it because its not a complicated or hard book to read and its a book that you will enjoy. You are always entertained in how they had to figure out the code of the maps or how they had to sacrificed themselves to get to the griever whole so they can leave the Glade. Gally was a very interesting character in the book because you are never sure of his next move specially when everyone escapes and they see the creators that they see him there and takes out a random knife from his pocket and tries to hit Thomas but it hits Chuck in the chest and he dies int he hands of Thomas. In conclusion I strongly recommend this book to all readers they will all truly enjoy the book and the suspense it constantly has.

Hello!

My name is Rigoberto Garza. I've been a residential student in The North Broward Preparatory School for 2 years now and living in The United States for 4. I came to live here because of the school program  because its very good and it helps you a lot in your future. Another important factor that made me come was the insecurity in Mexico. All my family was born and raised in Mexico and they all are proud Mexicans.

One of the things that I enjoy the most is snowboarding. Ive snowboarded for 5 or 6 years now and I love it. The best feeling is to feel the wind in your face when you are going down carving threw the snow. Snowboarding really helps me relax and just think about things. Up in the mountain there is no phones no distractions no anything just you and your board. I reflection about a lot of things when I'm going down the mountain and just see white fluffy snow everywhere. I can think clearly about everything when I'm going down. Something else that I enjoy a lot is jet-skiing its the same as snowboarding just go to the front and just think and enjoy the water and just relax. I've done that for a longer time and my uncle recently just bought 2 of them so every weekend that I go out to Miami I take the time to go and use them and just take a break of everything for some time.

The dorm life is a very different experience for all residential students some enjoy it and don't want to leave and just feel at home, some don't like the dorm life because its a very different way of living. Living in the dorm is living without the freedom that people usually have. Its complicated to get used to everything, specially in your first year of the dorm life. In the future you get to know the faculty and the head masters and know how to do things and how to get used to the style of them and of living in the dorms, but know how to get those extra drops of freedom that are very important.
